Changing the details of my request

We understand the details of your service request might change after you’ve submitted a request through Favo. When that happens, you have a few ways to Edit your service request details to let Service Providers know there has been a change:

  • Updating the details before receiving quotes from Service Providers
  • Updating the details after receiving quotes from Service Providers
  • How do I cancel my request


Updating the details BEFORE receiving quotes from Service Providers

If you haven’t received any quotes for your service request, you can edit your service request by filling out a request form again with the new details and press the orange “Send Request” button to save and send the updated request.

Once you select edit my request, we will delete your old service request and send the new information to eligible Service Providers.

 

Updating the details AFTER receiving quotes from Service Providers

Once you’ve received quotes, the best way to inform Service Providers about the new details of your service request is to message them directly. This shows the Service Providers who have quoted that you’re still looking to hire and gives them a chance to follow up with a new quote price.

If you would rather submit a new request, you can fill out a request form with the new details and we’ll edit your service request. Keep in mind that your old service request will be deleted, including any quotes you’ve received. If you like any of those quotes, we recommend letting the Service Providers know you will be deleting your current request and encourage them to quote on your new request.

 

How do I cancel my request?

Go to your Profile and select “My Requests” page and view the request you’ve posted. Scroll to the bottom of the request and click “Delete”. Alternatively, send an email to [email protected]
