The idea for Favo originated when the founder of Favo Ian Ward became increasingly disappointed with the lack of responses he received when making enquiries for numerous products or services.
Existing search engines and directories often list outdated and non-relevant results. Furthermore they do not offer information such as availability, proximity to the customer and trusted reviews and feedback from genuine clients all in one place.
The concept of creating a platform where customers can specify their requirements and service providers can respond based upon their geographical location, availability and expertise became a reality with the launch of Favo.
Favo is like a free personal assistant to the customer and a source of relevant clients to the business. The customer only needs to complete a single form, and the businesses that are available for the requested date and time and are qualified and interested in providing the specified service respond. The service is completely free to the customer specifying the request who will receive up to 5 quotes. The client can then select which service provider to use based upon different criteria. The client deals directly with the service provider once they have made their selection. Once the job is completed the customer has the option to rate the service provider.
